Spirit of Enterprise

Artist: Rob Olins
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

'Spirit of Enterprise' is a sculpture located on a roundabout at the entrance to Haverhill. Standing over eleven metres tall the sculpture is lit by blue sodium lights and a laser.

Born out of a campaign by local business consortium 'Haverhill Enterprise 2000', local companies donated funds, time and materials to bring the project to fruition. Artist Rob Olins also worked with schools and colleges in the area, contributing to community relations and strengthening local goodwill towards the project.

The sculpture has become a symbol for the town, raising Haverhill's profile and enhancing its identity.

'Spirit of Enterprise' was funded by Haverhill Enterprise 2000 and an Arts & Business New Partners investment, and developed by Commissions East.
