Working with Artists

We provide opportunities for artists by commissioning their work for the public realm. By project managing commissions, we act as an intermediary between the artist and the commissioner, providing practical support and advice as well as constructive critical feedback.

For artists who have little or no experience of working in the public realm, we have produced a number of information sheets that explain the commissioning process and how you can present your work to Commissions East for consideration for future projects.

We have also produced a directory of the East of England for artists, listing useful contacts and signposting other sources of support.
